Need volunteers? We can help with that! Please think through all aspects of your volunteer opportunity before filling in the form below. Our goal is to be as efficient in filling opportunities as possible and to not waste anyone’s time!
If you are advertising your volunteer project elsewhere, we ask that you don’t submit one to YYCHelps.ca. Again, we don’t want to send out volunteers if you’ve already fulfilled your request through friends, family and neighbours.
Guidelines: We will do our best to fill any immediate requests for volunteers, but make no guarantees. For a successful volunteer turnout, please try to submit your request at least 2 days in advance of your volunteering event.
Note: Many volunteers have now returned to work and require more notice prior to volunteering. We’re finding requests for aid during the week are difficult to fill and typically not successful when done on short notice. Volunteers require time to make arrangements with their employers prior to committing to volunteer opportunities. If possible, plan your volunteer time for the weekend when more people are available to help or plan out the week ahead.
