Fundraiser: Hell or High Water Stampede Shirts from the Calgary Stampede’s online store. The Stampede says:

“In order to aid in the relief efforts to our fellow Albertans, proceeds from each “Hell or High Water” t-shirt sold will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross Alberta Floods Fund, which is actively providing relief to flood victims.

While supplies last.”

Emergency Fundraiser For Victims of Alberta Floods
Higher Ground is hosting an Emergency Fundraiser for the victims of the Alberta floods on Saturday, June 29th. So many people have been evacuated from their homes and have lost their homes in the process. Let us band together as a community and help out our friends, family, and neighbours in these times of need. Tickets will be $25 at the door.

Free Kitchen At Dashmesh Cultural Centre
On behalf of the Calgary Sikh Community we invite all flood victims, volunteers, emergency responders, etc. to come by and eat a hot Indian meal at the Sikh Gurdwara. The Dashmesh Cultural Centre is located at 135 Martindale Blvd NE. The free kitchen (langar) will be available for all from 11am -8pm 7 days a week.

Stomp & Swoosh – Calgary Men’s Chorus Benefit Concerts
Please join us for an evening of beautiful noise! Stomp and Swoosh explores smooth choral sounds with visually and auditory stimulating body percussion!

London Drugs have free power stations set up at the customer service counter in affected areas in Calgary for anyone needing to charge their phone!

Solar Power Generators
For communities with no electricity only and have immediate emergency need. SkyFire Energy has kindly offered two portable solar power stations ready for deployment if needed. Please call or text 403-891-2522 if there is a need for power in your community.

Tank Truck Offer
Shackle Vac Combo Services and KMC oilfield services have a fleet of tank trucks and combination/vacuum and steam trucks. The combo trucks can suck up water with the vacuum and the steamer can be used to clean contaminated areas. The trucks can haul in between 10 000 and 50 000 liters. The team has done a lot of work with sustainable resources and are COR certified. Please assess your need BEFORE contacting them. Call Andy or Sean Tousignant at 780-333-5691.

The Shaw Go WiFi network has been opened to all non Shaw customers in AB who need Internet access. Lots of hotspots all around the city!

Emergency Relief Funding Page
Place2Give has put up an emergency relief fund page. They are focusing on grassroots organizations.

Repair Cafe
Repair Cafe is offering repair events after the evacuation ends. If you’re good at fixing things, let them know if you’d like to volunteer and when you’re available.

downtownfood is offering free meals to emergency responders. They are located at 628 8 Ave SW.

Feed For The Flood
The Canadian Standardbred Network is doing an organized feed and supply collection to distribute to those horses evacuated and effected by the flooding in Southern Alberta. Read more details>>>

Pets In Need Of Emergency Shelter
If your pet needs a place to stay or if you see a stray animal that needs emergency boarding, the Calgary Humane Society is taking in animals around the clock. Staff remains standing by at the Humane Society’s call center to get evacuees’ pets picked up and taken to open and accessible shelters. Read more details>>>
