There is still a great deal of work to be done in many areas of Southern Alberta! We’ve received on-the-ground reports from High River that the following items are needed for clean up efforts:
Gloves – nitrile palm coated are best
Safety glasses
Masks – decent ones
Hand sanitizer
Boots
Hammers
Small crow bars
Buckets
Floor Squeegees
Shovels
Also needed:
Generators & extension cords
Jerry cans with gas
Fans
Wheel Barrels
Rubber maid containers for salvaged belongings
Dump trucks and bobcats – does the work 20 volunteers loading a bin in 5 min vs an hour. The wet drywall and insulation has to be thrown in the bins by hand otherwise.
