Cleanup crews were at work around the clock to get the store ready to serve the community. Sobeys re-opened its doors at 9am on July 13 and is now back in business!
To celebrate the people and the resilience of the community, Sobeys held a community barbeque on Saturday with reopening specials including gift cards to the first 250 people and a chance to win free groceries for a year.
Customers will receive 15% off any groceries purchases until July 18th.
Sobeys will also be accepting any food bank donations.
