The MsConduct hockey team has partnered with KidSport Calgary and FiveHoleForFood to collect equipment/donations at Eau Claire on Tuesday July 16th from 2-6pm during their ball hockey game. The premise is that anyone who donates food or equipment will get a chance to play ball hockey in the street with Calgary Flames, Stampeders, and other professional athletes. There may also be a chance for some autographs/pictures!
The most urgent equipment needs right now are team supplies like pucks and pylons, but individual player and goalie gear is still needed as well. Donations can be monetary as well. The food bank needs all kinds of staple items, especially foods for special diets (Celiac/allergy friendly).
Please come down and see us and take part if you can, its an all ages /all skill levels event. We may need a couple of volunteers with trucks so if anyone is willing to haul donations. If interested, contact Jen Bohach at [email protected].
