Volunteer satellite station at 1809 Riverside Drive NW needs people to help prepare food, talk to an overwhelmed floor victim, deliver food, match volunteers to homeowners in need – all sorts of tasks to do. If you have a car we need people to drive volunteers between the shuttle bus drop off at the Rodeo Grounds to our station in town. If you are an RN or social worker these people need your support. We have had massage therapists come out and offer free service to volunteers. There are lots of things to do besides manual labour!
Unless you are volunteering to drive people between stations please feel free take the shuttle buses from Calgary if you need to.
Please bring water, sun protection, bug spray.
Any donations of food, drinks, cleaning supplies, protective equipment or any services you can offer are always welcome!
